How to Prepare Delicious Matcha

1. Put the tips Chasen into the water a little bit. Pour hot water into the bowl to warm it up.
2. Start by warming the teacup with hot water and then thoroughly wipe it dry.
3. Place one bag of the product into the cup and pour in 60~70ml of hot water.
4. Vigorously whisk back and forth with a tea whisk until frothy.

*Since matcha has fine particles, it tends to clump. If this concerns you, consider mixing the matcha with a small amount (10ml) of water or hot water first, then add the remaining hot water to reduce clumping. Additionally, another method to prevent clumping is to pour matcha and hot water into a personal bottle, shake well, and enjoy your matcha conveniently.

*Adjust the amount of hot water according to your preference. *Handle boiling water with caution.

In regions outside Japan where tea whisks may not be readily available, using a cake frother or even a simple stirrer such as a wooden stir stick can be an effective alternative. Here's a guide on how to use them:

Cake Frother Method:

Pour the hot water and matcha powder into the cup as instructed.
Instead of a tea whisk, insert the whisk attachment of the cake frother into the cup.
Turn on the cake frother and move it vigorously in a back-and-forth motion to froth the matcha until it reaches the desired consistency.

Wood Stir Stick

After adding hot water and matcha powder to the cup, insert a wooden stir stick.
Stir the matcha briskly in a back-and-forth motion, ensuring to mix it thoroughly to create a frothy texture.
These methods should help achieve a nicely frothed matcha without the need for a traditional tea whisk. Adjust the intensity of stirring according to your preference for frothiness.
